Our Story

How gb9 Got Started

When gb9 launched in 2019, Bangladesh's online Sports Betting market was dominated by foreign platforms. Bettors struggled with English-only interfaces, complicated foreign payment gateways, and hours-long waits for support. gb9 was built to tackle these problems head-on.

GB9 started out as a small team with one clear goal — to build a platform that felt truly local for Bangladeshi bettors. A fully Bangla interface, direct transactions via Mobile Pay and Nagad, and a support team that speaks the language: these three pillars were the foundation of GB9.

🏏 cricket is the heartbeat of Bangladesh, and GB9 has put it front and center from day one — offering the best odds and live betting on the BPL, Test series, World Cup, and beyond.

Building Trust, Step by Step

In its early years, GB9 grew almost entirely through word of mouth. Members who had a great experience told their friends and family, and that's how the community steadily grew. Building a reputation through quality of service, rather than advertising, was always GB9's approach.

In 2021, gb9 launched its live betting feature — and it quickly became a hit. The ability to view real-time odds and place bets mid-match attracted even bettors who had previously relied on foreign sites.

Gb9's growth accelerated further after the mobile app launch in 2022. With smartphone usage rising rapidly across Bangladesh, gb9 capitalised on that trend to build a powerful mobile-first platform.

Our Team & Values

Behind gb9 is a team of passionate people who love both sports and technology. Developers, designers, support agents, and betting specialists — all working together every day to make gb9 better.

Most of our team members are sports fans themselves. Cricket, football, kabaddi — they genuinely love these games. That passion is what helps them understand exactly what a bettor needs.

Gb9 believes a great betting platform does more than just offer odds. Being honest with members, resolving issues quickly, and earning long-term trust — that's what gb9 is really about.

Responsible Betting is Our Commitment

Gb9 is committed to responsible betting. We encourage every member to treat betting as entertainment, not a source of stress. Only bet within your means. Self-exclusion, deposit limits, and cooling-off tools are always available on gb9.

We believe a happy, healthy bettor stays with GB9 for the long haul. That's why member wellbeing is our top priority.

Gb9 is more than a betting site — it's a home for millions of sports fans across Bangladesh. A place to enjoy the match, place your bets, and savour the thrill of winning.
